Scope changes and change requests

Last updated July 2, 2026

Almost every project surfaces something new once the work is underway — an extra document format, another system to integrate, a process variation nobody remembered. That's normal, and there's a clean way to handle it.

How it works

  1. We flag it. When something outside the proposal's scope comes up, we tell you before doing the work — what it is, why it matters, and what it would take.
  2. You decide. Some changes are worth folding in now; others are better as a phase two. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.
  3. It's documented. Agreed changes are confirmed in writing with their impact on cost and timeline, so the paper trail always matches reality.

What we won't do

We won't quietly absorb scope creep and then surprise you with an invoice, and we won't let the timeline drift without telling you why. Transparent scope management is how projects stay on budget — yours and ours.
